During my internship at Kikkerland Design, I was assigned to work on a golf tee product for the golf line. I conceptualized various possibilities, and studied what products existed in the current market. I concluded that Kikkerland’s strength was in its ability to bring timeless design to the masses, no matter how small the product. I created both proposal and progress presentations for the company, using blender to digitally sculpt and render iterations up to the final product. Using nature as an inspiration, I wanted to create something with narrative and wide appeal, something that was not a “novelty” but moreso a gift. With its tail planted firmly in the ground, this gopher seems to have popped up right under your golf ball, balancing it upon its head.
